October 2009

BOE launches Blue Agave Racking System, a joint venture with Architectural Glass and Aluminum of Alameda, California.

July 2009

Blue Oak PV Products expands with the launch of a new product, the Homerun Disconnecting Combiner Box line. The total product line grows to 10 distinct models.

January 2009

Blue Oak is selected as the prime design and engineering contractor for the solar electric systems on 20 Wal-Mart stores located in Southern California.

December 2008

BOE installs a total of 900kW and designs 30MW in a record year of solar installations since inception in 2003.

December 2007

Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) selects BOE as the solar energy prime contractor for seven retail stores in California.

December 2006

Blue Oak Energy founds a products company, Blue Oak PV Products, LLC. The first products are launched: two models of safety listed combiner boxes. Our first customer is EI Solutions, and the combiner boxes are installed at Google HQ

April 2006

BOE was selected as the design and engineering contractor for the 1.9MW Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California. This complex campus-style PV system was commissioned in March of the following year.

September 2005

BOE completed a design and engineering package for the 600kW Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District solar project

May 2005

Booth Engineering was incorporated in the State of California and the company name was changed to Blue Oak Energy (BOE).

January 2003

Booth Engineering was founded with an opportunity to provide engineering services to a prominent solar contractor.
