Tobin Booth, PE
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Booth founded Blue Oak Energy because he recognized a critical need for intelligent project design and construction planning in the photovoltaic industry. With more than a decade of experience in renewable energy, he is a national leader in the field of solar electric design. His focus on reducing PV system costs and increasing reliability is widely acknowledged. Mr. Booth holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University.
Danny V. Lee, PhD
Director of Engineering
Dr. Lee oversees Blue Oak’s quality assurance and maintains an agile design team. His engineering expertise spans across several industries and brings Blue Oak a diverse range of electrical, structural and mechanical engineering skills. Dr. Lee has multiple degrees from UC Davis, UC Berkeley and Portland State.
Amy Hoagberg, MS
Principal Engineer
Ms. Hoagberg has over a decade of experience at a utility-owned solar electric test facility and for a photovoltaic manufacturer. She is leading solar power into a new era of broad acceptance. Ms. Hoagberg holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, and Arizona State University, respectively.
